Miran writes:
"After trying to fix my marriage, seeing couples therapists and doing everything I could to fix myself, my marriage was no better. That’s why after 15 years in real estate, I went back to school to become a therapists at 39 years old. I found the love within myself. I found the wholeness in myself. I understood what I brought to the table and what was not mine. I learned to trust myself, to communicate, to be the partner I wanted and was proud to be. Then I decided I was not being loved in the way that I wanted and deserved, so I ended the marriage and got back out into the dating world at 43 years old.
People don’t believe me, but I had an interesting and positive experience in the dating world. 6 months into the process, I became smitten and the rest is history. During this process, I saw so many of my clients, people on social media, and friends struggling through the process and feeling hopeless and despair. I get it, the whole process can make you feel like there is no solid ground beneath you, especially after trauma and heartbreak.
I trained from the best couples therapists, trauma and attachment leaders, learned everything I could. I studied to really be able to deeply help others find their safety and connection again. It is my purpose in this life to truly help couples who are desperate to feel close, safe and to find their best friend again. That moment when one partner feels finally heard from their partner, begins to find hope again is the best feeling in the world to be a part of. Or sometimes, that moment of clarity when they too realize they are not being loved in the way that they deserve and I stand by them to make that courageous leap of faith that they are not stuck in that life.
