HOSPICE CELEBRATES LIFE!

Service Description

Come celebrate seasons of our lives with Hospice of the Chesapeake and Wellsview. Thursday evening 6 - 8 PM. It is a special collaboration for the Annapolis community as a whole! We have all had losses... let's bring them in our hearts and explore a new winter path forward - together. It is a ceremonial opportunity to reflect and celebrate the blessings we have known along the journey past. We will literally and metaphorically 'burn' what we seek to release, and set intentions and blessings for our unique paths forward. We are not alone whatever is to be! Schedule: We will gather at 6pm in Wellsview's Studio. Reverend Faith Fitzgerald and other representatives with Hospice of the Chesapeake will guide a brief program for all of us. We will relax to the tones of singing bowls for a while, listen to melodies from the new "Threshold Choir," and learn more about labyrinths, ways to walk the paths we are on as well as the lighted path at the Center. Part of the program includes a communal walk along the lighted path behind our main building. We will take time to set intentions, contemplate a bit about what is possible to release, especially thoughts, feelings, actions, that no longer serve us. We will also contemplate and welcome new possibilities for the coming springtime, our future. This is followed with a post walk closing conversation in the Studio, finishing around 8pm . Hospice is providing complimentary warm beverages and delicious healthful snacks in the Studio too! Please join us. Wellsview's FireMaster will be on duty. There will be additional Warm beverages and Center products available for sale at the WE Herb Shop too (611 Ridgely Avenue Building) Wellsview is collaborating with ONE WARM COAT.org and offering the opportunity for you to bring a coat for donation in the drive at this event! (Gently worn and laundered please. ) Look for the collection locations around the Wellsview campus. This event requests a fee of $10. to offset costs and we welcome for such an important cause. All donation proceeds this evening go to the HOSPICE OF THE CHESAPEAKE. Thank you for your generous contributions. Registration is required for planning purposes.
