Saturday "Garden Parties" Return in FALL

Do you like to grow stuff? Join us! Let's grow flowers! Herbs and So Much More - Relationships! Amateur gardeners, Master Gardeners (patient with amateur gardeners!) ALL WELCOME! Join us as a volunteer for some safe, fun outside play together. "Many hands make light work" and together we'll grow our flower CSA, botanical sanctuary, and our sheer delight whatever the season at Wellsview! In the later autumn we will also lay the annual labyriinth of lights. Sign up here or give us a call/send an email, or show up on a Saturday we're out there..... We look forward to welcoming you to our planting work parties. Bonus: You'll receive three free bouquets too - once they're available. Our outdoor "garden parties" have been a delight this past year. We joined the United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary Network and recently completed planting Ginseng and Goldenseal at Wellsview. The garden team is dedicated to planting and protecting at-risk native medicinal plants on the property. We look forward to offering more classes and educational explorations as we continue and find ways for us all to connect more with the herbs and plants that support our health and wellness daily.  This year we also grew hibiscus, passionflower, lavender, rosemary, thyme, sages, sunflowers, echinacea, foxglove, calendula, nasturtiums and more! We have been busy making teas and tinctures with the herbals we harvested this late summer & fall.  With your involvement, we may even be able to revive our 2021 CSA flower project! It was beautifully productive even with the late start in that year. (zinnias, cocks comb, bells of Ireland, hydrangea, daisies, cosmos, verbena, straw flower, marigolds, dalias, drumsticks, amaranth, purple cone flower, and other beauties!) It was a great first year with the launch of Wellsview's Herbary and Blooms CSA! We look forward to selling more bouquets next year.
