WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION & SOUND BATH

Service Description

Come celebrate the solstice with Wellsview. Saturday Dec 21, 2024. 3:30-7:30PM We'll gather at 3:30pm. The WE Herb Shop will be open. 3:45PM In the Studio, come meet Wellsview's independent practitioners and learn some great ways to tend ourselves this Winter as we gather together for this mini-retreat program. 5PM is the December Sound Bath (in Studio) and a perfect antidote to any holiday stress! We'll relax to the tones for about 45 minutes and listen to Venetia's opening guided meditation. 6PM is an intro to Labyrinths followed by a communal walk along the lighted path. We will take time to set intentions, release what isn't serving and welcome new possibilities for the coming springtime, our future. 7PM is a formal closing in the studio. The FireMaster will be here after! Gifts and warm beverages available for sale at the WE Herb Shop! Wellsview is collaborating with ONE WARM COAT.org and offering the opportunity for you to bring a coat for donation in the drive at this event! (Gently worn and laundered please. ) Look for the collection location at Wellsview's Aqua Shed near the Labyrinth. Part of the program features WellsviewCare's monthly special  "Sound Bath and Meditation" with Venetia Bailey and friends. Offered as part of the Winter Solstice Celebrations on this December 21st. Bring your own mat/pillow/blanket if you like to rest on the floor, or use those provided on site while you're here. We also offer 'zero-gravity' reclining chairs, if you prefer. The singing bowls promote relaxation and calm, and we incorporate a guided meditation to start. The soft intention vibrates throughout the space encouraging calmness and can assist with opening up to deeper clarity and new perspectives. The resonance of sound offers deep relaxation while inspiring wellness and happiness benefits through the body’s own network of self-healing.  Sound meditation can be experienced lying down, sitting on the floor, or upright in a chair. After the Soundbath we'll enjoy the fire and have the opportunity to visit and savor tastes of Wellsview's Winter Herbal Collection at the WE Herb Shop.
