Service Description

This is Wellsview's local walking group, stepping out, offering ad hoc walks in nature to explore our environments and maybe catch up with each other! We all know walking is great for us… the list of benefits is long. Fellowship along the trails in and around Annapolis only enriches the time and adds to those benefits too. It is evidence=based self-care, relaxing, and did we say joyful and fun? We know Nature soothes and helps us balance our whole beings — from physical balance, to nerves to hormones, to mental health. Let’s put the phones down, put our sturdy shoes on, and get outside to connect with nature and each other. Each walk is different and decided by the folks that show up at Wellsview's Parking Area to head out at the start time! Wellsview leaders will also have a few ideas up their sleeves if no one has a favorite path for that day. Everyone Walks at their own risk. It's typically an hour long. Everyone walks at their own pace. Bring your own snacks and water. Dress appropriately for the weather. Rain or Shine! (typically!) ;) No charges for this event - and please consider making a donation to the Center one day soon!
