Wellsview retreats to Tenerife, Spain! It is a chance to explore a bit of summer in a different land. You have a choice for length: It can be eight (8) Days and seven (7) nights (one on the airplane over). Let us know if you want an extension or longer trip - that may be possible to!
All the pricing and information below is based on the trip departing Saturday, June 15, 2024 and returning Sunday, June 23, 2024
The trip will include a balance of our wellness practices, that explore the theme of "EMBODIED JOY!" And offers a "native son's" tour of aspects of the amazing Canary Islands. THE OVERVIEW:

Total Cost: $ 4,350./person (w/ shared room.)
($ 4,950. for single occupancy / private accommodation per person.)
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
This price is nearly All Inclusive - providing for your:
Flights (USA - Tenerife and returning),
Seven (7) nights stay in comfortable seaside (and poolside) deluxe resort hotel accommodations,
Full European style breakfast smorgasbord every morning,
Dinner each evening on excursion days (possible two nights on your own), (Dinners typically include selection of wine(s) and sometimes up to 6 courses!
Ground transportation (to and from Tenerife airport/hotel and for all excursions on the Island);
All Day Excursions to local villages, sites, parks and towns on Tenerife;
Any Themed quiet times, guided meditations, classes and gatherings (including yoga, sound bath(s), and more!). (All events and gatherings are optional of course.)
Round trip Amtrak Rail travel from Baltimore Penn Station -to- Newark International Airport - (Optional.)
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:
Transportation to and from Newark International Airport (Newark, NJ).
Charges made to your room (i.e. minibar, room service, laundry/drycleaning)
Spirits/cocktails (beyond what may be served with meals)
Meals other than breakfast on "rest days" and/or if you choose to not join in on island excursions.
Gifts/souvenirs etc. and other personal spa services and entertainment
Private Travel Insurance for your trip. (Everyone is responsible for their own insurance. Wellsview assumes no risk.)
REGISTER:
Let's begin begin the registration process with a $10 payment here through the website. this enables you to fill in the registration form info and let us know you're interested. Then contact us to make the payment(s).
MIN. INITIAL DEPOSIT of $ 2,050. /per person deposit is due to book your space. Payment is due before March 15, 2024 (This is also when we will collect waivers forms & provide relevant required information for travel reservations. Registrations after March 15th, 10% will be added to the Balance Due/Second payment. )
BALANCE DUE of $ 2,300./per person (for shared occupancy) before Friday May 3, 2024.
($2,900. per person for private single room) due before Friday May 3, 2024.

(Full disclosure: A minimum of ten (10) reservations are required to enable the group rates.
If there are not a minimum of 10 people registered with their information submitted by March 15, 2024, then there will be an increase in the airfares to continue with the journey, (or you may cancel with partial refund of the deposit amount, less the $500. administrative /airline penalty fee .) Details of the trip are subject to change. Wellsview, with her affiliates, assume no liability for this retreat. A liability waiver will be required prior to departure, and it is recommended that each participant obtain, individual or couples, travel insurance for the trip. Again, a minimum number of registrations will determine if this trip will happen at these rates. We certainly intend to move it forward. Place to Stay
We have reserved accommodations with a beautiful EU hotel, in Las Americas, Tenerife. We will have time to rest and enjoy their 5 star amenities that are along the grand beach-front promenade, and lounge by amazing outdoor pools (one is with fresh salt water of the Atlantic). Their facilities include private and double rooms, with beautiful vistas. It is an urban location so you may find your own delights outside the hotel, fun shopping and walking along the promenade, sea sports and easy access to Europe's "Best Left" if you're a surfer!
Lunches/Snacks & Dinners are split with others if we're eating together, or on your own. (It's so reasonable compared with eating out here.)

Places To See
You will have the opportunity to visit and hike at El Teide, (the tallest peak in all of Spanish territory - and an active volcano at that!) We will explore the black sand beaches and special harbors along Tenerife's amazing coastlines. We will visit quaint, historic villages and towns and learn a bit about Tenerife's history and culture. (For example the towns of Oratova and Icod de los Vinos.) We'll move, play and be still and quiet some too! We will enjoy world famous pools, salt pools, ocean coves & beaches, celebrating this overall island paradise! (Ground Transportation to/from airport and these site visits will be provided with your registration.)

Flights & Transportation
We have good news - No more 5 - 8 hour layovers in London or Madrid! United Airlines flies direct from Newark International to Tenerife South. Woo hoo! Wellsview has a special group rate and has reserved all the flights for our group. With your initial deposit we will need to gather some basic travel information (passport numbers etc.) to finalize your flights. We will leave from Wellsview midday on Saturday June 15, 2024 and return the following Sunday, June 23, 2024. The flight to Tenerife is an overnight one, so come prepared for a 'restful sleep on the plane.' (You know the drill: wear comfortable clothing and drink plenty of water). Ground Transportation to/from airport in Tenerife and the site excursions and visits will be provided by Wellsview and included in your journey, as noted above.
All Air fare and ground transportation are included, as are all but a couple meals on your own. For optional day trips we will have rented vans to depart from the front door of the Hotel and return us back at the end of each journey.

Itinerary Details
We will be producing a general itinerary in a google calendar for all registrants to see and learn. Our first dinner together on the Island will offer time to review this together, sign up for the excursions you want to join and ask/answer any questions etc we may have. (Of course we're happy to do that anytime via email or in-person.) If you have traveled with us before, you know, we like to create a home base and then journey as day trips, with amazing Spanish meals at least once/day! (Victor loves to show off his island home.) We allow down time between journeys so we can certainly pace our selves. Participating WellsviewCare practitioners will be providing special leadership too. There will be time for optional meditation circles, yoga classes, sound baths, etc throughout the trip. There even will be early morning fitness possibilities for those who don't want to sleep in! All these events and options are being coordinated within the beautiful seaside hotel/ retreat center setting.
