MEDITATION PRACTICE

Quiet time, set with intention each week

Service Description

Returning later this summer! This is a simple Friday morning regular discipline for quietness and coming to presence. The facilitator will offer an intention and a short reading to open the time. (...and/or maybe a few strikes on the singing bowls, maybe an icon on which to gaze...) Those attending are invited to sit in silence and be present. In closing, a simple bell tone will ring and we'll gently move on with our day. Come sit and be still for a while. The journey inward is such a gift. There may be a few minutes at the end of each time for sharing if those present are so inclined. Leadership may be shared as the group continues to form. In Preparation: Wellsview offers several basic meditation benches. Please feel free to bring your own sitting cushion or pillows, mats, blankets, etc. Consider bringing a journal book to note your observations/thoughts. This is a non-denominational group. All are welcome. (We're masked, distanced and safe, and we hope you'll join us in person.) We are considering opening this with a zoom connection. Stay tuned. Dates coming soon.
